Do you have any success with window boxes? I've tried both flowers and herbs in boxes on sills the past two summers - everything in them always ends up drying up and shriveling away. I never could tell if it was the result of too much or too little sun, over or under watering. I love the idea of having a tiny garden blooming within arm's reach right outside a window, but I just can't seem to make it work.

What have you been planting? What kind of conditions do you have out there? Direct sun? Partial shade?
Well, I can't say I know much about gardening of any type..but I do love window boxes, they are just the sweetest little things. I hope yours works out! Good luck!
