Have I mentioned how much I love bicycles? And pictures of bicycles. And pictures of people on bicycles...
I have two bikes at the moment, and it's a good thing I don't have a garage or basement, because then I'm pretty sure I would have three. Yesterday I was really psyched to take this one out of winter storage and hit the streets. However, after about ten minutes of desperate peddling in efforts to keep up with my fellow-cyclist, it became painfully clear that I had chosen the wrong bike for the job. Lesson learned: one-speed bikes are better left for leisurely cruises around the neighborhood, not serious bike rides along the Hudson River. Oops.
I have to take a minute to talk about the out-of-this-world gorgeous photography, styling, and clothing in Anthropologie's April catalog. I actually took it to work with me today so I could flip through whenever I had a free minute. I've looked through it at least ten times, but I keep coming back - it's that amazing.
Also, I've developed a serious obsession with this top. I do believe it's the most beautiful piece of clothing I've ever seen, and right now I'm running a list of possessions in my head I can sell in order to purchase it...
AH! I've just been contacted by Apartment Therapy to feature my apartment in an upcoming post! This is really exciting for me, especially since this little apartment basically owes its life to the advice and inspiration I've seen on that blog over the past year or so. Yippee!
Did you happen to see the house tour of photographer Helen Palmer's home over on Design Sponge last week? Her use of color is superb, and I love, love, love all the bright whites and natural light that fills every room. So many interesting details! Check out the rest of the photoshere. Oh, and Helen also has a sweet blog, too.
