If Ever I Leave This Place...

My next apartment absolutely *must* have hardwood floors and windows that allow lots of natural light. My current apartment has both of these, and so the only thing that could ever make me leave this place would be if I found a *bigger* apartment (with an actual bedroom) that is just as great as this tiny one is.

A Weekend In August

Hello, dear readers. What did you do this weekend?

I went to visit my little brother for a few days in New York. I had brunch at this adorable little place. I highly recommend you do the same the next time you're in the city and in need of some vanilla hazelnut french toast.

I also popped into the museum, where I saw this exhibit (and much more).

Now I'm back home and the heat is almost more than I can stand. September is looking pretty good right about now...

What are you up to this weekend? Tonight I'll be checking out the new exhibits at area art galleries, and tomorrow I'm hopping on a train and heading to New York City for a couple days.

Number Two

Yesterday we went blueberry picking (#2 on the list). It was a perfect day for it - sunny and not too humid. I wanted to get my hands on the raspberry bushes, too, but apparently they're all picked for the season. Apple season will be here before we know it!
